| More of a process than a connector range!
By the use of newly developed resins we are able to hermetically seal connectors for use in both high pressure and vacuum applications up to10-7 m.bar.
The process is not limited solely to those connector ranges usually associated with hermetic sealing, but can be applied to 99% of connector series. The new process offers a higher levels of sealing, greater flexibility, a more rugged component and a reduction in both overall cost and lead time against the more conventional glass to metal or ceramic technology. The systems also enables the manufacture of connectorless, direct cable feed throughs, which also meet the same high sealing specification. This application being especially suitable for thermocouple feed-throughs by providing a continuous unbroken cable path Other applications include: Space Simulation, Plasma Technology, Vacuum metallistion, laser and underwater systems, in fact almost any application were high levels of sealing are critical.
