IQC are able to offer the full range of hoods to fit all 5 D-subminiature standard shell sizes. Available in molded plastic, metalised plastic or die-cast metal in a combination of formats incorporating straight, 45 degree or right angle cable outlets. All hoods can be supplied complete with a variation of specified fixing hardware (see detail under mounting accessories for further information).
Of particular note is our range of die-cast hoods, which, when used in conjunction with either foil or braid screened cable offer excellent shielding characteristics, assisting to meet the current EMI/RFI emission regulation now in force. |

A range of molded low density polyethylene covers to fit the 5 standard shell sizes of both male of male connector types. The covers are push on, easily removal able and offer excellent protection to the connector interface whilst not mated, in transit or storage.
